Strong partnerships

	UT2J/IUT de Blagnac/Maison Intelligente de Blagnac We are experiencing a longstanding partnership with Toulouse Jean Jaurès University and its Blagnac Smart Home department. This partnership was formalized in a convention between the University and Toulouse University Hospital and materialized in many a cooperation and common paper. We are sharing a common use of True Life Lab method where the human dynamics are at the core of designing and deploying technology based services.

	GCS Télésanté Midi Pyrénées et Institut Européen de Télémédecine Since the lab was founded it has kept close links with the Telemedicine team of Pr Louis Lareng. Those links are based on Pr Lareng's doctrine "bringing quality care in any location on the territory" including obviously the home of those who cannot attend a medical practice. Since a formal start with DOMEO AAL Project, many informal cooperation’s have occurred with the GRADeS GIP e.sante Occitanie, the agency in charge of eHealth procurement and deployment for the Health Agency of Occitanie Region. We have a special focus on eHealth smart tools for the inhabitants of social housing for the rural elderly including accessibility, purposeful monitoring, cognitive stimulation, patient empowerment.
	Ages sans Frontières Ages sans Frontières is a rural rooted charity with a deep involvement in social engineering providing elderly people in Tarn with innovative habitats. They are fostering through Osmonde Fund the spreading of their shared home participative approach for the empowerment and social inclusion of the inhabitants. As part of their R&D, they are involved with our team in a True Life Lab research on the social optimisation of information and communication technology tools.
	Ecole Nationale d’Ingénieurs de Tarbes Long lasting relation with Ecole Nationale d’Ingénieurs de Tarbes on risk analysis and management in telemedicine for the elderly; have materialized lately with the co-tutorship with Pr Bernard Kamsu-Fogem of Alsane Sene, PhD candidate, on the risk management and optimization of telemedicine for nursing-home residents. This collaboration is benefiting from the contacts both partners have with GCS Télésanté Midi-Pyrénées (association in charge of the regional deployment of telemedicine on behalf of the Regional Health Agency).
	MSA Services MSA Service is a subsidiary of Mutualité Sociale Agricole the social security provider of the farming and agribusiness with an interest on new-technologies based services for the rural elderlies.

	Institut de Systèmes Intelligents et de Robotique We have a longstanding collaboration with Dr Vivianne Pasqui and Pr Philippe Bidaud on robotics to compensate motor handicap with a special interest in the effect on the human robot interaction needs of those with cognitive impairment.

	NIMR The National Institute for Medical Rehabilitation (NIMR) is the leading rehabilitation institute in Hungary. It was established in 1975. It has 400 beds for in-patients, a day-time hospital and several out-patient services. It has an own orthopaedic workshop and a research programme for using advanced technologies in rehabilitation. NIMR took part at projects of the 5th Framework Programme of the European Union: the “Reharob-project” and “The measurement of quality of life in older adults and its relationship to healthy ageing” as well as at the “Alladin-project” of the 6th Framework Programme. In Hungary the education of specialists in Rehabilitation Medicine is based on NIMR. The Department of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine of Semmelweis University is located here. The Institute takes part at the education of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, somato-pedagogues and nurses as well. The Institute has new central building; the conditions for patient care and research are really excellent.
	Alliance Sages Adages Alliance Sages Adages is a charity providing home-support services for the old and the disabled. It is a main stakeholder of homecare in our region. It took part in the validation of a digital communication notebook for patients and home-support actors « Wellfar-e-link » (© IRIT-CHU Toulouse). It helped in a wide study to detect what were the objects the home dwelling elderly cognitively impaired people would be looking for in their home (part of ANR CONTINT Riddle) and could implement the results in their daily practice to provide a better service.
	Laboratoire d'analyse et d'architecture des systèmes LAAS is a long lasting partner of our lab, with various common projects in robotics (walking aids, companion robots) and sensors (detection of risks through actimetry in the cognitively impaired).

	ANR ANR is the French Government body in charge of funding research. It is bringing us the main part of our funding through various calls, mostly in collaboration with CNSA. The rest of our funding is coming from the Toulouse University Hospital (CHU Toulouse), the INSERM and the "Gérontopôle".
	Caisse Nationale de Solidarité pour l'Autonomie The Caisse Nationale de Solidarité pour l'Autonomie is the French governmental body in charge of fighting the social exclusion caused by deficiencies. One of its major roles is to fight the age related prejudices in handicap management. Due to our research domain, the CNSA is a major contributor to our funding.
